No, not PM10 readings, book readings and signings...the first featuring my essays on urban sustainability, metropolitan economics, politics, culture, and all that stuff, with the second focusing on my urban noir novel (which deals with gentrification and homelessness along with the plot).
So, save TWO dates, as I now have these two readings coming up in Los Angeles....
The first will take place Sunday, May 31st, in South Pasadena, at The Battery used bookstore on Mission, right by the Gold Line Metro station. Meet at 2:30, endure some readings from my essay collection, "Our Own Day Here," mingle and browse a bit, and then saddle up (if you brought a bike) to pedal about Northeast Los Angeles a bit visiting quirky local bookstores. This will be a nice way to finish off a run through Pasadena's extremely short CicLAvia "Open Streets" event on the same day. (In collaboration with Bike Talk.)

The second one will be a Muse on 8th, just around the corner from my digs, at 7:30 on June 23rd. I'll be reading from my noir novel, "The Dust Will Answer," and maybe a short story or two. Muse has great veggie-friendly food, and theres' the Little Bar next door, a warm neighborhood hang.
